Brightness

The luminous intensity of a light source is understood to mean the radiation power that that source emits per unit of solid angle. This power is corrected for the spectral sensitivity of the eye. The light intensity of a source indicates how much power the source radiates in a certain direction. When you integrate the light intensity over the entire opening angle, you get the luminous flux in lumens.
